Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board JKSSB | Press Release Regarding Selection List Of Various Posts
J&K Services Selection Board convened 181st Board meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Khalid Jahangir, KAS, Chairman, J&K Services Selection Board in his office chamber to consider Various agenda items including selection process with respect to the post of Forester Divisional Cadre Jammu/Kashmir, Selection List of the Candidates for the post of Deputy Superintendent (ARI and Training Department), disposal of representation of candidates who had applied for the post of Junior Scale Stenographer advertised vide notification no.01 of 2014 dated 13-08-2014 and preparation for forthcoming Examination for the various posts under PM Package for Migrant and Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits.
During the meeting item wise discussion was held on the Agenda and after due consideration, appropriate decisions were taken.
It was decided that in pursuance of the directions of the Hon'ble High Court, Selection process for the post of Forester, Divisional Cadre Jammu /Kashmir, advertised vide Advertisement Notification no. 08 of 2010 dated 24-12-2010 under item no 224 and 340, and Divisional Cadre Kashmir vide Advertisement Notification no. 03 of 2004 under item No. 008 and 01 of 2013, item no 32 and item no 47 shall be taken forward in accordance with rules and criteria governing the field. Controller of Examinations, JKSSB was asked to initiate necessary steps in this regard. The notification for the walk test in this regard shall be notified soon. Besides, the Board also decided to release the selection list of the candidates for the post of Deputy Superintendent, (ARI and Training Department) State Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification no 10 of 2005 dated 29-12-2005, under item no 078.

Apart from this, the Board deliberated on the issue pertaining to the representations submitted by the candidates for the post of Junior Scale Stenographer and after noting all the facts placed before it, the Board decided to proceed ahead with the selection process for the post of Junior Scale stenographer, Advertised vide Notification no. 01 of 2014 dated 13-08-2014 item no 007. The Board also reviewed the status of arrangements for the Computer Based Test for the various posts advertised under PM Package for Migrant and Non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits that have been scheduled w.e.f 28.03.21. In adition, status of ongoing selection processes under Accelerate Recruitment was reviewed and all concerned were directed to expedite activities assigned to them for ensuring completion as per timelines.
