Anganwadi Workers (AWWs):  Minimum Education qualification should be 10+2 pass and maximum graduation

Anganwadi Workers ( AWHs):  Minimum qualification is 10th pass

Age Limit

Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years shall be considered for the post of Anganwadi Workers & Helpers.

Anganwadi Workers & Helpers Job Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

The Selection Process for Anganwadi Workers Job Recruitment 2023 includes the following points-

• Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be granted purely on academic merit basis & there shall not be any interview.
• In case eligible candidate is available within the family of retired AWW, the said candidate shall
• qualify for additional two percent points.
• Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.

The Selection Process for Anganwadi Helpers Job Recruitment 2023 includes the following points-

• In case of no matriculate certificate is available in the ward, candidate with qualification not less than 8th standard shall be considered.
• The Committee shall select the most needy married women of the ward.
• In case eligible candidate is available within the family of retired AWWs/AWHs, the said candidate shall qualify for additional two percent points.

Steps to Apply for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Recruitment 2023 

The applications along with required documents shall be deposited in the Office of the District Programme Officer Poshan Budgam by or before 06th of June, 2023.

Documents Required:

1. Panch Ward Certificate /present /continuous, ward residence certificate issued by BDO duly countersigned by ACR/SDM.
2. Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildar concerned.
3. Date of Birth Certificate.
4. Academic Qualification Certificates with Marks card of 10+2.
5. If candidate belong to family of retired AWW then copy of the e-ratign card.
6. Non employment Certificate from a Gazetted Officer.
7. Unmarried Certificate from respective Tehsildars.
